This is a piece of cermaic artwork i made in 2008. It is all about a tragic incident - Sichaun Earthquake. This artwork has 2 parts.  Mom (left) is trying to protect the child underneath (right). Browsing images of the massive earthquake, mostly cracked walls, traumatized faces, bleeding chinese sheding bitter tears, dead bodies etc., simultaneously feeling unbearably painful, therefore, i want an artwork to reflect and memorize that moment of my sorrow and intense grieve.

MAXXI Museum in Rome by Zaha Hadid Architects. I found this architecture really interesting and excites the visitors! It gives the visitors a sense of exploration yet the museum actaully leads them along these winding paths. The powerful use of lights and the twisting combination of black and white provide a jolt of creative energy.  I like the quintessence of Zaha and she just brings us suprise.

This was captured in Cockatoo island. I like the sense of purity in this photo with the elegant seagull zipping water and wimpled by the gentle breeze as the focus. However, there are still lot of details to examine like the another seagull standing on the water with shadows, the texture of the ground and the water's reflection of the blue sky.
